I'm thinking to buy the house either riverside or moreno valley or fontana or corona. This is the area that I can afford to buy. Can you please give me suggestion which city is better because I don't really know that area. Thanks everyone.
they are all bedroom communities that used to be
very unique but they are no longer.
find a nice real estate office that has a BUYER"S AGENT
and do not allow that agent to also be a DUAL AGENT.
if the agent rep's only you in your transaction, you can get
a very good deal……….if your agent has never done a buyer's agent
rep deal before, find someone who has.
an exclusive buyer's agent is even better.

Of the four communities you listed, I would personally prefer to live in Corona although the price are substantially higher. Prices in Corona have stabilized somewhat whereas the other areas are still declining. Do check the Megan's Law website to make sure you are not buying where there are registered sex offenders. Fontana has a very high crime rate, and (personally, again), that would not be on my list at all. There are areas in Riverside that are very nice, and the same with Moreno Valley.
Do to take the first answerer's advice about hiring your own representation. He is absolutely right. Do not call the listing agents, and do not call on signs or ads. They represent the Sellers and are bound to get them the best price. You definitely want your OWN Realtor to represent you. I am giving him a thumbs up for his answer!

As usual, KemperK and Carmen are spot on.
I just thought I'd chime in with a suggestion of Menifee. It's nice, and you can get a lots of bang for your buck, especially if you work nearby (maybe even Temecula or North SD County)

Before I moved to the midwest in 92, I owned a new house in Moreno Valley. Heard there are tons of foreclosures there now. It was a nice area when I lived there, but I couldn't vouch for its safety now.

Back when I bought property in Moreno Valley, it was actually called Sunnymead!

Well my 2 cents. I would not buy anywhere but corona. I am in my mid 20's and grew up in corona, I have also lived in lake elsinore. Trust me corona, is a lot nicer and Safer. Megans law website will show you what I mean. Out of the places you mentioned it is a no brainer. If you can afford to live in corona, do so. The prices are much higher than the other cities and that in itself should be enough to tell you. I am looking to buying a home now as well and can ont afford corona, and I am very tempted to go elsewhere but when you go to the other malls and stores you just notice the difference.
