Even though I’m a big fan of The Kras, I agree with what “evilwatchme” said about him showing some range. I mean, have you not seen License to Wed? Boo and barf! But yeah, I think it’s gonna be great. It’s incredibly well-cast. Do I even have to mention how awesome Sam Mandes is?

Well this mvie …
Well this mvie wasnt a book so everything you just said means absolutely nothing. Also of the course the movie isnt as good as the book because they cant get every single little detail from a book into a movie, also the original is always better than the movie. But that still doesnt mean that all of those movies are amazing films.

Four.
Added …
Added Jarhead when I remembered it and forgot to fix the number.
Four.
I will admit that Alison Janney being in this film is reason enough to see it. I’ll watch anything she’s in.
But yeah, the person who said “this movie is so marketed to me it makes me sick” pretty much nails the trailer. This film looks like it should have been made in 1995.
I’m sure it’ll get heaps of praise, though, just like all (forgetting Jarhead again) of his films.

Yeah, seen them all …
Yeah, seen them all and they’re all overwrought messes. Jarhead as well.
I’m assuming you haven’t read the script for American Beauty, the graphic novel for Road to Perdition, or the books Revolutionary Road and Jarhead, right? The source material for all three films is vastly superior than the films Mendes made.
