We haven’t done the painted one yet… We have the placenta in the freezer just waiter. We forgot to buy a roll brush and simply haven’t had the time to go to the store yet. Hope to do it this Thursday.. But that’s high hopes, ha.
Tuesday the 26th our son & I have a check up here at home with the midwife, our 2nd check up. The first one was 3 days postpartum and was fabulous! After our checkup I am about 99.9% sure we’ll get in an update, labor story, and meeting the new little addition! 
I apologize it’s been ‘forever’ but I do have to allow my body time to recover for one, and as any new Mom knows getting showers aren’t at the top of the priority list… lol I’ve been lucky enough to get three in the last week, but only had the energy ONCE of those three times to get “ready” with doing my hair/make-up, which I plan to do on Tuesday. Plus it’s impossible to do a video with two little ones at the ages they are. Jacelyn is just too intrigued by her little brother and doesn’t exactly know (or perhaps she does and is just being defiant) the word gentle just yet…. So I have always have to keep and eye on her and be with in an arms reach of her when she’s around him. Tuesday hubby will be home (from work) so I plan to take advantage by showering and getting ready to just feel better about my self while going through the postpartum initial stage.

i am an l&d nurse …
i am an l&d nurse in a hospital…we keep our placentas for 7 days before discarding if someone wants to take theirs home. the only reason you would not be able to get it is if you or baby had an infection etc and it needed to go to lab for further testing.
