Obama held a 24 minute conference call with liberal bloggers on Monday July 20, 2009, urging them to write articles, to help get his healthcare bill passed. After being questioned about the following article, on IBD’s site, he laughed, but them admitted, he was not aware of the contents of the bill.

“It didn’t take long to run into an “uh-oh” moment when reading the House’s “health care for all Americans” bill. Right there on Page 16 is a provision making individual private medical insurance illegal.
When we first saw the paragraph Tuesday, just after the 1,018-page document was released, we thought we surely must be misreading it. So we sought help from the House Ways and Means Committee.
It turns out we were right: The provision would indeed outlaw individual private coverage. Under the Orwellian header of “Protecting The Choice To Keep Current Coverage,” the “Limitation On New Enrollment” section of the bill clearly states:
“Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day” of the year the legislation becomes law.
So we can all keep our coverage, just as promised — with, of course, exceptions: Those who currently have private individual coverage won’t be able to change it. Nor will those who leave a company to work for themselves be free to buy individual plans from private carriers.

Jest not, this plan, put forth by the Democrats, is not simply a reform, of our present system. It will totally destroy the quality of care, that we presently enjoy, and remove the freedom of choice, that we now have. Presently many go without insurance, by choice. This plan will tax you if you choose to have no insurance. All payments will come directly from your bank accounts, so there will be no time payment plans, and it covers less, and pays less with huge deductibles every year.

Obama’s cronies …
Obama’s cronies have stopped me from posting. No vulgar language, no racism, just plain talk opposing his bill and giving a possible solution. Be very cautious people. We are at the fork in the road. Tell people to stop thinking impulsively and think this stuff through and how we all will be affected in the long run. No matter what gets passed, if anything, they will have opened pandora’s box and many politicians will make careers out of altering this horrible bill.

The status quo is acceptable to over half of the population. My insurance, which I have my own individual policy, is not perfect but clearly acceptable. What happened to earning things in this country. What about you reap what you sow? Should anybody not have access to food or health in this country? The answer is no. But, should gangbangers who contribute nothing to society get the same medical attention as a cardiac surgeon? I would say no. Should the gangbanger get his stab wound fixed? yes.
