So long as there is "No Break in Employment" you'll be ok.

Watch out for trial periods in the contract though as these will raise questions!!

You should be fine, unless he is taking a significant cut in pay for the new job or he is completely changing career fields.

It is not a problem as long as you follow the mortgage companies rules. Usually you would need to stay in the same job field ex office clerical, administration, management, etc. I found that when we did this we changed my field to be office clerical so that way it would be a broader field where I could find a job in. You will have to tell the mortgage company though because just before you close escrow they will call your company and confirm that you still work there.

It shouldn't change anything as long as he's in the same field he is currently in. I'd let the mortgage company know, just incase they call to verify employment, they probably won't if he supplied payroll stubs when he filled out the mortgage paperwork. I changed jobs in the middle, so I called the mortgage company to let them know that I was in a different job making more money but the same industry, they just asked for a months worth of paychecks, it didnt' change a thing.

As long as he is doing the same thing he did in his last job, you both should be fine. If he went from IT to customer service for example, then it may have to fall on your job and credit.

It should not be a problem, particularly if the new job is in the same field. Mortgage companies will simply tack the time on the old job to the time on the old job if it is. If it is in a new field, it will be a little more difficult but you will still get a mortgage provided your scores qualify you. Best of luck to you.
