Are you talking about those signs you see in your town that say "We buy homes for Cash & close in 7 days" or something like that? If so, they are not as Golden as they appear to be. You would be better off just putting your home up for sale through Real Estate agent , through the MLS on the open market. These "we buy houses" people are investors who are looking for people in Crisis/Emergency situations. They are only looking for people who are willing to sell their homes for 20-30% under market value. Yes they will give you an all cash sale & close in 1 week, but you will seriously get ripped off.
