Alright, i wanna buy houses, abandoned ones mostly, and maybe occupied ones if that is possible

also want to increase the area of my current house too would be nice.

To increase the size of your house just go into build mode and start adding on. If you want to purchase a new house have your sim use the cell phone in their inventory or their house phone and click the "move’ button. That will take you to a map view of the whole town that shows you all houses and lots available and you’ll be able to select one from there. If there is a house you want but there is already a family in it just click on the button in the lower left (the one with the three dots that you have to click in order to quit or save) and select the "edit town" option. From there you can evict people from their houses and, if you go into build/buy mode from that screen and select a house you’ll be able to look inside and/or made modifications.
