I got six.
That’s all there is.
Six time one is six, one times six

He got six.
I put mine with his and we got twelve
Six time two is twelve, two times six

I got six, you got six,
She got six.
We got eighteen altogether.
If we can get ‘em all together.
Six time three is eighteen, three times six

I got six in my right hand,
Six in my left hand,
Six on my head.
And you got six in your pocket.
Put ‘em all on the floor - that’s 24.
Six time four is 24, four times six

I got six red hens.
They laid five eggs each.
All the eggs hatched out,
And the yard was full of 30 little chicks.
Six time five is 30, five times six

One fine day,
They all started in to lay.
I got 36 eggs, and I took ‘em in the house,
And I put ‘em in boxes,
Six eggs each. Six boxes.
Aw, six times six is 36, six times six

Goin’ to the candy store -
I’ll take six of these and six of those
And six of them and six of the others.
And also six of the red, six of the white,
And six of the blue.
I’ll put ‘em in one bag - that’s 42.
Six times seven is 42, seven times six

Oh, I’m throwin’ downtown,
Pickin’ up six.
I made 8 tricks
And didn’t miss a lick.
Six times eight is 48, eight times six

Nine hungry men had six dollars each. (Aw!)
That’s 54 bucks,
But they were outta luck.
‘Cause 54 bucks won’t buy dinner downtown.
Not for nine.
Then there were six hungry men
They had nine dollars each ( Yeah!)
And they went downtown, and the waiter said “Sit down!”
Oh, it makes a big difference how you spread it around.
Six time nine is 54, nine times six

See that prince over there? (Yeah!)
The one with the fuzzy hair.
He’s got six rings on every finger.
He don’t wash no dishes,
Not with 60 diamonds.
Six time ten is 60, ten times six

He brought along eleven camels.
Now, ain’t that nice? (Ain’t that nice)
Each one loaded down with six casks of oil and spice.
Brought quite a price.
Six time eleven is 66, eleven times six

He had twelve wives.
He better be rich.
Each one had six kids - six children each.
Six time twelve is 72, twelve times six

But me, I got six. (I got six)
That’s all there is. (That’s all there is)
Six times one is six, one times six.
I got six. (I got six)
That’s all there is. (That’s all there is)

    Anyone here a …
Anyone here a Babylon 5 fan?

Imagine Garibaldi playing just the audio of just the first four verses of this to Londo Mollari, after truthfully telling him that it’s from an old Earth song used to teach “certain basic concepts” to very young Earth children.
    :-D

  2. machiner6 Says:

    I want to see a …
I want to see a Class of 3000 music video of this entire thing, and the first kid is Sunny Bridges, and there’s a background too: New York City! (Even though his school is in Atlanta.)

  3. machiner6 Says:

    it’s sort of ” …
    it’s sort of “Techno Rock”.

  4. machiner6 Says:

    and “3 is a magic …
and “3 is a magic number” was remixed for Disney’s “3 musketeers”.

  5. machiner6 Says:

    Kim and Kam are …
Kim and Kam are doing 1:37, both playing jacks, while Madison gets the Candy before that. The Downtown area (those who manage to get in) Are from the competing Eastley school. Sunny’s school can’t do it.

I keep dreaming of a Class Of 3000 music video of this stuff, and the first 3 kids are from left to right, “Sunny Bridges”, “Lil’D”, and “Tamika Jones”. The background is New York City. I’m working on a drawing of that too!

    I remember watching …
I remember watching these in the early 70’s when there were only 4 channels on TV, and cartoons only on Saturday morning. Then we went OUTSIDE AND PLAYED! Imagine that.

I LMAO watching this one and I can’t believe that after all these years, I still know ALL THE WORDS!!! Yes, I’m old… (40)

    Ah, okay.

I have a joke about this video, too, but you’d have to be a pretty involved “Babylon 5″ fan to appreciate it.

that prince in 2:30 looks like the Mack lol.

  12. COMALiteJ Says:

    Multiplication Rock …
Multiplication Rock came first, and inspired the other Schoolhouse Rock “departments” (Grammar Rock, History Rock, etc.) thanks to its success. Indeed, even the overall name “Schoolhouse Rock” came after this (watch the version with opening and closing credits and see for yourself: no mention of “Schoolhouse Rock” — it was “MULTIPLICATION Rock”)!

So, no, they DIDN’T watch Grammar Rock before making this. They COULDN’T. It didn’t EXIST yet.

Are you kidding? He would’ve got robbed back then too. It was 1973 - unfortunately stuff like that was already happening then also. If anything it’s probably safer today, at least in NYC.

  20. magda976 Says:

    Haha that’s …
Haha that’s actually pretty funny. I was just talking about the Conjunction-Junction video and they say “Conjunction-junction, what’s your function???? Hooking up two boxcars and making them run right!” Ok, how ironic is it that those are the lyrics??? “Right” is an adjective and that sentence needs an adverb in its place…it SHOULD BE making them run correctly…hahah Either way, School House Rock was a great idea and cool for kids. :) Glad to see it on here.

  21. ctt4lfecw Says:

today, that kid walking into the subway would have got robbed of his balloons

  22. SDChargersForever Says:

    It should be “I …
It should be “I have six” (not “I got six”).

Didn’t the folks who did multiplication rock ever watch grammar rock?

That’s assuming if the kids survive being born. And I thought Catholics had big families.
