I live in NY and inherited an old broken down home in cleveland that I dont want or need and I dont have the time or money to get out there to Cleveland to fix it up I just want to get rid of it so Im thinking about contacting some of those we buy houses ppl should I be able to sell the home from NY over the phone and by fax and/or mail instead of meeting face to face becuase I cant even make it out there.

When it comes to selling a house you can do everything from long distance. The contract can be faxed or e-mailed and you can have the attorney that handles the closing or the title company FEDEX you the closing papers. You will have to take the closing papers to a notary when you sign them. I would call a local REALTOR in Cleveland and tell them to find out what the property is worth and list it with them. The REALTOR will try to get you as much for it as possible so they get paid more their fees are usually based on a percentage of the sales price. They will charge you more money but you will also most likely make more money. Those we buy houses companies only buy houses that are really good deals.
