Tenants has nothing to do of selling it's rented property. They maybe paid a month or so in advance to its rent, then it has to be discuss to the buyer. They cannot evict you until the end of the lease - and all terms continue to apply, including the monthly rent amount. Another thing - did the new owner get possession of your security deposit (if you paid one)? The owner can always sell the house without the renter's having any input on the decision.
